Ruchi SanghiRSDC’s Founder, Teacher and Artistic Director, Ruchi Sanghi started her dance training at the tender age of 7. Her initial training was at the prestigious Kathak Kendra (the National Institute of Kathak Dance in New Delhi) under famous Jaipur Gharana guru Shri Rajendra Gangani.

She then moved to Mumbai where she studied under the tutelage of the legendary Kathak dancer and Bollywood choreographer (Nritya Samrat; Nataraj) Shri Gopi Krishna.

It was here that Ruchi’s talent flourished and she developed the Kathak style popularized by her Guru.
Under her Guru’s guidance, Ruchi got extensive training and experience in performance and choreography in Kathak, Indian Folk and Bollywood dance forms.

Now as a teacher herself, Ruchi is dedicated to making her students realize their maximum potential as dancers.
As a choreographer she wishes to create original works through the medium of Kathak and in collaboration with other dance forms.
