RUCHI SANGHIProducer, Artistic Director and ChoreographerRuchi Sanghi is a choreographer hailing from Mumbai, India where she has had extensive experience under renowned choreographers of Bollywood such as Natraj Gopikrishna and Shiamak Davar. She received critical acclaim for her choreography of “Devdas the Musical” in 2013 and 2014, “The Nautch Girls” in 2010 and “Nine Flavours” in 2008. Her fascination with the story of Anarkali coaxed her into producing this epic saga into a musical and dance extravaganza.

His formative skills were honed with Shri Harihar Das of Lukhnow Gharana, and he was awarded ‘Sangeet Bhushan’ from Prachin Kala Kendra of Chandigarh, one of the reputed music organisations in India. Abhijit is a regular television and radio artist and has accompanied many artists of international fame from all over the world. He is a composer and arranger and has worked for several albums with some more coming up in near future.

NIHARIKA SANGHIAssistant ChoreographerNiharika has learnt Kathak for over 20 years, primarily under the guidance of her guru and mother Ruchi Sanghi, as well as renowned Kathak gurus in India such as Smt. Nutan Patwardhan. “Anarkali the Musical” is her first production as a choreographer, where she has assisted her mother in conceptualising and creating spectacular dances that are fresh yet timeless.

SRIJANI GHOSHLead VocalistSrijani is one of the most well-known and talented Indian singers in Australia. She has taken Hindustani classical vocal training from Guru Imam Ghulam of Allahabad (Prayag Gharana), lessons in bhajan and thumri from Esha Bondopadhyay (Kolkata) of Luckhnow Gharana, training in light vocals from Debasis Bannerjee in Kolkata and is currently training under Shri Gautam Ghosal. Srijani is a reputed music guru in Sydney. She has performed at various venues across India & Australia, with over 100 concerts to her credit.
